Through vibrant color and meaningful portraits, this mural seeks to highlight the diverse array of contributors, showcasing their dedication, accomplishments, and positive influence. By immortalizing these figures on the fence of the Mount Vernon Substation, I aim to inspire community pride and foster a sense of unity and connection while encouraging reflection on the the iconic legacies that have shaped the cultural identity in DC.
