About the event
Meditation is the practical form of mindfulness. Through meditation, we are able to connect with our minds and bodies by simply beginning to focus on our breathing. As thoughts come and go, we thank them and release them back. By not attaching emotion to our thoughts, we can regain our control over and over-active mind and imagination and steer the focus in the direction we so choose.
Engaging in small group guided meditation can assist us in our journey to self-discovery, release anxiety and work through depression, as well as connect the mind and body and promote mindfulness in our lives.
